Who is eligible to apply for Rashtriya Military School Entrance Exam?
- For RMS admissions, only male candidates are eligible to apply.
- As of the first July of the admission year, kids must be between the ages of 10 and 11 to be admitted to the 6th standard.
- As of July 1 of the entrance year, a student must be between the ages of 13 and 14 to be admitted to the 9th standard.
- For military personnel who have died in battle, there will be a 6-month age relaxation provision.
- Before the date of admission at RMS, pupils must have completed the fifth standard at a recognised school in order to be admitted to the sixth standard. Students entering the fifth grade are entitled to take the relevant entrance exam.
- Before the date of admission to Rashtriya Military School, pupils must have completed the eighth grade from an accredited school in order to be admitted to the ninth grade.
