How to get admission in Sainik School?

The Ministry of Defense’s Sainik Schools Society oversees the management of the schools. All Sainik Schools are connected with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and all schools adhere to the CBSE’s test guidelines, courses, and policies.

Sainik Schools were established in 1961 by VK Krishna Menon, India’s defence minister at the time. They were created to address a geographic mismatch in the recruiting of the National Defense Academy (NDA). Our country’s states are currently served by a total of 34 Sainik schools.

The AISSEE application form will be made available by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in September 2022. On aissee.nta.nic.in, students could complete the online Sainik school admission form for 2023. Class 6 entrance to Sainik School in 2023 is open to students aged 10 to 12. Students may apply for AISSEE admission to Class 9 in 2023 if they are between the ages of 13 and 15.

The entrance exam for Sainik School, which will be held in January 2023, is similarly under the control of NTA. The AISSEE answer key will also be made available in February 2023.

Students must attach all essential documents in order to submit the Sainik school application form for 2023. Additionally, students must pay INR 550 for Sainik school fees (just 400 for SC/ST). Additionally, they must confirm that they meet the requirements to take the Sainik school entrance exam in 2023.
